Julia Hartsell
(She/Her/Hers)

Julia is a ritualist, dancer, community facilitator and writer who weaves nearly a decade of experience working with the ancestors with two decades experience with somatic practices and dance facilitation into her work with clients.

Having stewarded a community based around shared practice, Julia has been a trusted ally for people across of all ages to tend life’s passages.

She has trained in Animist Ritual and Ancestral Lineage Healing with Dr Daniel Foor of Ancestral Medicine. She is an initiated priest of Osun in the Ifa/Orisa tradition. She has worked intensively with the ancestors since 2012 and is trained in psychopomp, soul retrieval and death doula work. She has spent decades in movement and somatic studies and is comfortable in the realm of midwifing grief and soul processes.

Julia also has decades of experience working with youth of all ages through a variety of passages.

She is co-founder, director and head liturgist at Heartward Sanctuary.
